Welcome The Unwelcome is a social justice–focused photography practice documenting lived experience, place, and community through a critical and ethical lens. The work centres Rainbow Mob Cape York narratives and broader questions of visibility, belonging, and cultural accountability. Using social justice photography, the practice records contemporary stories grounded in respect, consent, and long-term relationship with people and Country. The focus is on truthful representation rather than advocacy or commercial outcomes.
