Description:
Swept source laser is a type of laser in which the output wavelength is adjustable over a wide range of wavelengths. The laser is focused on a particular wavelength and is “swept” over a range of wavelengths. It is an attractive high-speed imaging technique for retinal angiography. However, conventional swept lasers vary the cavity length of the laser mechanically to tune the output wavelength.
