Arc Raiders: Keeping the Memory Walkthrough

You can complete Keeping the Memory by heading to Dam Battlegrounds, and then going to the "Wreckage Area" near the Formicai Outpost in the South. The wreckage is where you will find every part of the quest.
You can find it by interacting with the bush in the above image. The helmet is located in front of robot wreckage next to an upraised leg. You can pick up the helmet by interacting with the bush. It won't go into your inventory; you will hold it in your hands like the crates from the Arc Raiders depots.
To complete the quest at this point, place the helmet onto the pole that is just a few meters to your West (it is only a few metres away). The mission is now complete and you may safely exit the map or continue your looting. You may be lucky and find Arc Raiders Mushrooms on fallen trees. This is vital if upgrading your pet Rooster.

Rusted Gears are the last item needed to upgrade your Gunsmith Bench in Arc Raiders. However, despite looking fairly unassuming, Rusted Gears may be difficult to locate. These are actually Industrial-type loot but they can also spawn inside very specific containers. This means that some maps in Arc Raiders are very useful for farming Rusted Gears, namely the Buried city. Below, I will show you where to go in order to find Buried Gears.
Locations of Rusted Gear and farming areas
As noted in our Arc Raiders Loot Cheat Sheet, Rusted Gears can be found anywhere that has an Industrial theme. My personal experience has shown that they can also spawn inside the hoods and generators of cars, if you are able to open them.
The best place to farm Rusted Gears at night is in the Buried City, because it has plenty of cars, but not many Industrial Areas. To help players get the most out of their time in Buried City, I have compiled a list of places to visit as soon as possible. You should open up generators and cars accordingly. Three major locations are to be hit:
The West Industrial Building. The west industrial building.
Parking lot for the railroad. A parking lot is located next to the railroad. It is possible to open the cars around and in it quickly. However, the station itself can be dangerous as players battle for a raider's cache.
The multi-level parking lot. The huge building is filled with cars and is generally left alone. There is an outpost for raiders on the lower level and bots occasionally roam around. Be careful, we've seen Bastions and Bombadiers up on the roof!
It's not essential to go at night, but you'll increase your chances of finding a Rusted Gear. They are rare, so you won't find them in any condition. Then, extract the gear and try again. If you want to play Arc Raiders aggressively and not risk anything, you can bring a free loadout. However, you will be playing without any safe pockets to store your precious gears.
